What is Worksystems, Inc.?
Worksystems, Inc. is a nonprofit organization
that connects job seekers with employers by funding providers of career
placement and training services. Our strategic partnerships with business,
economic development agencies, community organizations, educational
institutions, and labor groups create a workforce development system
that responds quickly to the skill needs of local employers.
Worksystems, Inc. funded programs serve adults, youth
and businesses throughout Multnomah and Washington Counties. Services
are offered through a network of One Stop Centers and youth-serving
organizations. Businesses benefit from recruitment and retention services
at each location as well as through customized training for current
workers.

services or financial supports may be available to help.

Labor Liaison Services RFP
WSI is seeking respondents for the role of Region 2 Labor Liaison. Region 2’s Labor Liaison
Serves as the lead in providing timely, comprehensive layoff management services and outreach
to employers with representative employees across Multnomah and Washington Counties and the
City of Portland in partnership with WorkSource Portland Metro staff, local Union organizations
and other partners following established protocols, policies and guidelines. The respondent
selected through this RFP will provide Labor Liaison Services for the Regional WorkSource
System and serve as a member of the Regional Rapid Response team working as the Lead in
providing Rapid Response for all represented and union related layoff activities across the
